Hello Society Members and MIS Students!

There are four summer internships available through LPL Financial, the largest independent broker-dealer in the United States.

Service Center Internship (Open to all majors) #21433

Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior applicants preferred • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite • Strong customer focus, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, and extremely organized • Training will be provided through our on-boarding processes as well as via coaching and mentoring provided by Service Center personnel

Project Analytics & Reporting Internship (Business, Economics, Finance and Computer Science) #21434

Qualifications:

• Junior or Senior applicants preferred • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite • Strong customer focus, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, and extremely organized • Training will be provided through our on-boarding processes as well as via coaching and mentoring provided by Service Center personnel

Project Analytics & Reporting Internship STO (Communication and Management Information Systems) #21435

Qualifications:

• Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Information Management/Architecture • Excellent written and overall communications skills • Attention to detail, strong time management, and organizational skills • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe products

Technology Product Development Internship (Computer Science and Management Information Systems) #21436

Qualifications:

Preference: Major or emphasis in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, minimum GPA 3.0 Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience Skills: • Ability to take instructions and learn quickly • Good planning, organizational and leadership skills • Good verbal and written communication skills • Self-starter, able to work unsupervised in a fast paced work environment • Ability to work in a team environment and motivate team members • Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel; PowerPoint, Visio or Project (considered a plus)
