Internship Available: NuVasive

Hello Society Members! A new internship opportunity is available through NuVasive, a medical device company that specializes in surgical products and spine surgery optimization. They are seeking an IT intern for their 2017 Summer Internship Program. You will be able to explore your skills as a Project Manager in Information Technology. Basic Qualifications

Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an IT related and/or technical discipline.
Must be currently enrolled in school with a successful completion of 2 years of undergraduate studies (minimum of 60 credit hours towards Bachelor’s degree)
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Ability to provide college transcripts as well as a letter of recommendation from a faculty member
Candidates are responsible for their own housing and transportation during the internship

Preferred Qualifications

Proficient and accurate with word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), charting, flow charting, graphing and internet research. Excellent time management and communication skills. Technical background and an analytic mind.
Customer-focused attitude.
Knowledge of project management software and techniques.
Experience with one or more business functional areas (Finance/Accounting, Sales/Distribution, etc…) from a prior internship.
Knowledge of basic programming concepts
