Internship Available: SIM

Good news, Society Members! The Society of Information Management (SIM) - San Diego Chapter is looking for a student to fill a part time position. SIM San Diego Chapter is an association of the Information Technology community at large, including senior IT executives, prominent academicians, and other IT thought leaders, who share and enhance their industry knowledge for the benefits of its members, their organizations, and the IT community of San Diego. Intern Responsibilities:

1. Web-site: Lead administration of content of SIM San Diego website

2. Social Media: Define and implement social media strategy including creating content.

3. Events: Responsible for event badges and registration. Be present at all events.

4. Venues: Be the main point of contact with the venues for all our events

5. Marketing: Responsible for developing marketing collateral

6. Membership: Follow-up on emails from members

Qualifications: An enrolled student with Web site administration capability, social media experience, and excellent communication skills.

Time Commitment: About 10-20 hours a month

Pay: $15/hour
